We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Economic Crime Learning and Development Manager with a strong background in Learning & Development and knowledge of Economic Crime activities. What you'll be doing Lead the deployment of design & delivery of comprehensive Economic Crime training programs across the society that align with organisational goals and meet agreed quality standards. Leadership and development of own team, c.5/6 training consultants providing oversight, guidance, coaching, and mentoring. Ensuring that training is designed and delivered in accordance with Nationwide's policy & frameworks. Managing the workload pipeline & prioritisation, collaborating with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions. Liaising with Compliance, Policy, Legal, Strategy, Change and 2 nd line colleagues to ensure due observance of relevant/appropriate regulation and or Policy standards. Oversight of the full training lifecycle, from needs assessment to evaluation and feedback. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, adjusting as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and successful business outcomes. Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages professional growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development. Working collaboratively with the SLT and more widely across the society to promote and maintain focus on Economic Crime matters. Supporting regulatory requirements and managing risks associated with the capability of employees. About you As a minimum requirement you'll have: Proven experience as an Economic Crime Training Lead / Senior Manager / Head of Proven leadership and management skills with experience of remote management to enable effective performance of team members to ensure training provision meets business needs A background in Financial Services Strong knowledge and awareness of Economic Crime risks In-depth understanding of the full training lifecycle, tools, techniques, and best practices in adult learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others A confident and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a highly pressured environment The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders at both operational and at senior levels and able to adapt to changing needs/priorities A good understanding of a range of blending learning methodologies and the vision to utilise current and future technologies to develop innovative learning solutions which build service excellence capabilities to optimise customer service outcomes Relevant qualifications in Learning and Development, or Economic Crime within a Financial Services landscape The willingness to travel to different Nationwide locations as required Our Customer First behaviours are all about putting customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
