Monday to Friday, 6 am - 3 pm
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Head Chef for our dedicated catering team at JLR in Solihull. The role involves producing outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in a prestigious contract.

About the role
1. Manage the large kitchen operation, including 8 micro markets, 1 main restaurant, hospitality, and a food delivery service.
2. Plan, organize, innovate, and oversee food preparation and cooking to uphold our reputation for quality.
3. Support our sustainability mission to achieve net zero by 2030.
4. Create a positive, supportive, and developmental kitchen environment for your team.
5. Ensure service delivery excellence at all times.
6. Drive sales through menu planning and promotional activities.
7. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, HS, and COSHH compliance.
8. Monitor food costs and budgets through effective food monitoring procedures.
9. Uphold excellence in food quality and customer service.
About You
1. Previous experience in a similar contract catering role, including hospitality and events.
2. Ability to motivate and manage a team to deliver consistent standards.
3. Excellent culinary and presentation skills with an innovative approach.
4. Passionate about hospitality, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in developing and inspiring team members.
6. Understanding of profit margins, purchasing policies, budgeting, and food costing.
7. Experience with stock and waste control.
8. Knowledge of food management systems, HACCP, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Natasha's Law, Allergens, and Manual Handling.
