This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef to manage a brigade of seven chefs in a busy kitchen, serving a 40 to 45 cover restaurant, operating seven days a week in a Leics village Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of seven chefs, fostering a positive and efficient working environment. • Menu planning, development, and execution, with a focus on seasonality and locally sourced ingredients. • Work closely with management on the development and enhancement of the culinary product. • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and profitability. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor a team. • Creative flair and passion for innovation in the kitchen. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Knowledge of cost control, menu development, and supplier management.
