Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive and Cake Lovers to spearhead sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and hospitality. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, enabling you to effectively engage with a diverse clientele. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building lasting relationships with customers.
We are looking to build our wholesale customer base for cakes, breads and pastries as well as our online sales of brownies by post and in time as we develop new products, initiate sales plans for these as well.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
* Conduct telemarketing activities to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with product information and addressing any inquiries.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and bakery teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
* Prepare regular sales reports for management review, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
* Explore additional sales avenues like events and markets.
* Ensure website is up to date with seasonal ranges and create relevant marketing plans for these.
* Manage social media sales and promotions.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within telemarketing or related fields.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Highly organised with strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
