Job Summary:
We are looking to appoint an individual to the Sales Team who will be responsible for driving the acquisition of new customers who currently run SAP ERP. The individual not only has a deep appreciation of the SAP solution portfolio, but also has sufficient experience and expertise to confidently engage with the business development, marketing, delivery teams, SAP, customers and prospects. The individual will carry a collective team target focused on the acquisition of new business from the current SAP ERP Community who are not currently NDBS customers, the target will span all service lines within the SAP ERP Community.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* To be able to comprehensively present and articulate the value proposition for the SAP solutions portfolio, to generate and meet revenue and margin targets and to fulfill the role of a trusted advisor to both Customers and Prospects. Defines innovative approaches to generate business and execute strategy for maximum effectiveness.
* Helps to ensure a high conversion rate from pipeline to deal closure and where required will support the wider sales team in executing on new business within the SAP ERP Community segment.
* To participate in the pre-sales process and engage in SAP forums, roadshows, seminars, blogging and marketing activities to promote SAP technology and solutions to both customers and prospects.
* Creation of account plans, development of relationships and go to market strategies to support both existing accounts and net new campaigns. Also to provide comprehensive and detailed proposition creation, demonstration management, opportunity qualification and bid management support that drive bid closure across the whole of the New Business Team.
* Report on sales progress throughout the year; identify and escalate deviations from plans agreed and actively engage in measures to deliver goals agreed to advance the pipeline. Develop and close sales opportunities through the successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with and support pre-sales management on negotiation of close strategy and contracting.
* Engage with SAP Midmarket team and Lower LE to ensure our strategy is communicated and aligned ensuring maximum SAP support, optimized value propositions and general promotion of NDBS. Participate in the development and delivery of comprehensive business plans to address customer and prospects priorities and pain points.
* Meet business process and system requirements and KPI’s with regard to administrative duties and the creation of accurate sales packs that drive the execution of successful sales and revenue growth.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Understanding the dynamics of selling Cloud products and services. This is key that its someone who has a track record of selling the full solution.
* Must have excellent sales and negotiation skills: demonstrated by evidenced based successful history and referenceable projects.
* Possess a high level of motivation and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a high level of self-sufficiency.
* The candidate must have a broad and comprehensive understanding of SAP solution portfolio including the various acquired solutions as well as having a good understanding of ‘Classic’ SAP as well as broad knowledge of the SAP back-end suite ECC/S/4, HANA, SF, Ariba, etc.
