As an HR Generalist, you will be joining a globalpany based in Belfast that provides alternative legal solutions.
Your new role
As the HR Generalist, you will support the HR Team to deliver a proactive HR service to the Practice Group across the UK, through:
Classifying queries and requests at first instance before assigning to members of the team
•Maintaining personnel records, ensuring that all employee information is up to date and accurate on Workday
• Supporting the end to end employee life cycle by providing administrative assistance to the HR Business Partners and the wider HR team
• Coordinating the weekly new joiner induction, liaising with the Recruitment, Office Operations and IT Training teams to ensure a smooth client experience
• Managing the on-boarding process for new joiners, liaising with the Firm's external referencing provider to ensure pre-employment checks arepleted by the joiner's probation date. ensuring a seamless on-boarding experience.
• Co-ordinating inductions for new joiners, liaising with Practice Team Assistants and session facilitators.
• Co-ordinating new joiner days for future Trainees and co-ordinating their induction, liaising with L&D, Heads of Practice and the London Trainee team as appropriate.
• Co-ordinating the Vacation Scheme, liaising with Recruitment and L&D teams, and Vacation Scheme supervisors in relation to the framework and content of the scheme.
• Liaising with the firm's external course provider, ensuring that Trainees are enrolled on the requisite courses and exams and ensuring the timely receipt of results.
• Managing end to end Parental Leave processes for all employees
• Assisting with ER related issues such as disciplinaries and redundancies by taking a full and accurate note of the meeting.
• Monitoring frequent sickness absence and escalating to the HR Business Partner where appropriate
• Conducting ad-hoc New Joiner Chats and Exit Interviews, providing feedback to the HR Business Partners where appropriate
• Supporting the Annual Performance, Salary and Bonus Review by attending group moderation meetings and talent sessions, data checking and letter production
• Supporting with thepletion of NI statutory reports including the Annual Monitoring Return and Article 55 review.

• Proven client service experience is essential
• Previous HR experience is desirable
