This site has a busy modern staff restaurant offering a breakfast and lunch service as well as some hospitality
As the Sous Chef, you will be
Working alongside the Head Chef
Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients to create exciting dishes with an Asian influence
Liaising with customers to ensure the food is of a high standard
Able to manage the running of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-3.30pm 40 hours per week
As an ideal candidate, you will be
An experienced Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie with a proven work history ideally within B&I or corporate catering
A strong leader with the ability to work as part of a team
Genuinely passionate about food and ingredients with an eye for detail and presentation
Able to think rationally and solve problems in a clear and practical manner
Confident in communicating with customers and the client
Able to demonstrate knowledge of current food trends and concepts
Friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
