REPORTS TO: Director of Operations PURPOSE: The role will be pivotal in managing and implementing sales opportunities and administration for Hospitality and General Ticketing, ensuring that annual sales targets are met, and client expectations are exceeded. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Support o Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications. o Assist customers with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. o Manage all mailing enquiries, digital and hard. o Provide product information and help resolve any issues or concerns. o Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Administrative Tasks o Manage and update the customer database within the CRM. o Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating sales meetings. o Process sales orders and maintain accurate records in the CRM. Reporting o Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. o Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management. o Gather feedback and analyse the success of events to improve future planning. o Help prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts. Business Development o Identify and qualify potential customers through research and networking. o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. o Maximise profitability by assisting in the layout of hospitality areas. o Dynamic evaluation of hospitality raceday offering per fixture or event basis o Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. o Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Collaboration o Work closely with the Marketing Manager and team to support their efforts and initiatives. o Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement. Additional Duties o Assist in the day-to-day running of the office o Provide support for other team members and departments as advised by Line Manager Qualifications: Proven experience in a sales role Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets. Ability to embrace change, be reactive and proactive Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including all racedays at Perth This role is based on-site at Perth Racecourse and therefore a reliable commute to Perth is paramount.
