Customer Support Specialist

We are supporting a company based in Aylesbury who are a UK leader in their field, with recruiting for a Customer Support Specialist on a permanent basis. The salary is paying between £23,700 - £25,200 per annum (DOE), working 36 hours per week on a rotational shift pattern between the hours of 9am-6pm. The good news is that there are no weekends involved!
This is a hybrid position where you will be required to attend days in the office, but for the right candidate fully remote may also be considered. Ideally you will have insurance experience, but this is not essential. If you have proven customer service experience with a confident telephone manner then let us tell you more!
Duties will include:
Handle both inbound and outbound calls regarding policy queries and renewals
Act as a point of contact for complex queries and carry out required investigations to resolve efficiently
Confident objection handling
Handle all calls that overflow from other teams, to ensure high service levels for customers
Manage customer complaints
Record and maintain correct information on the system for policy holders
Attend meetings and training when requiredTo be successful for this position you will be an approachable and friendly individual who has problem solving skills, ensuring the best outcome for both the business and customer. You must have excellent listening and questioning skills while being able to work on the system, typing information correctly and as efficiently as possible. Ideally you will have worked with customers both over the phone and in person to have empathy and understanding to resolving issues and queries to the best of your ability.
