Roseate
Hotels & Resorts is looking to recruit a Sales Executive to be based in The
Roseate Edinburgh, Scotland. The Hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh,
featuring 35 bespoke guest bedrooms and suites, a bar & restaurant, lounge,
garden conservatory and private gardens. Refined, relaxed, luxurious and
intimate.
The role
will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Identify new contacts,
develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to
maximise revenue
* Generate and develop sales
leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
* Negotiate contracts and
manage relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other
intermediaries
* Develop and maintain a
strong network of industry contacts to support sales efforts
* Assist with the Request for
Pricing (RFP), negotiation and contracting process
* Arrange and carry out Hotel
show rounds and FAM Trips and attend trade shows when required
* Monitor market trends and
competitive activity to ensure the hotel remains competitive and
attractive to customers
* Collaborate with the hotel's
Operations and Reservations teams to ensure a seamless and successful
experience for clients and groups.
* Produce accurate and timely
reports that meet the needs of the Regional Sales Manager and Senior
Management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and
business leads
We are
looking for:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience
in Hotel / Meetings & Events or Sales roles
* Exceptional knowledge of
Edinburgh Market – Corporate, Leisure, Groups and MICE
* Pro-active attitude, strong
sales and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
* Ability to travel as needed
for sales and industry events
* Excellent organisational and
administration skills
