This role will support the leadership of a business with key projects including pay negotiations, pay reviews, and cultural transformation.

Our client is based near Redhill in Sussex and they are looking for an HR Director (interim).
The business has multiple sites across the UK with a workforce of employees working in transport or engineering.
This business would fit an HR Director who has worked within the Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics Distribution, and supply chain sectors.
Description
This is a 6-month interim HR Director role starting in January.
As the HR Director (interim) of this business, you will:
1. Lead the People function on IR, ER, Talent acquisition, L&D, Comp & Bens, Payroll, etc.
2. Lead on all Trade Union relationships and pay negotiations.
3. Lead on the comp & bens strategy for 2024 bonus reviews and 2025 salary reviews.
4. Drive an employer rebranding and culture change/business transformation project.
5. Be accountable for the Payroll function and participate in the external financial audit process with a focus on payroll.
You will manage a team looking after an employee base with people issues often seen in businesses within the Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics Distribution, and supply chain sectors.
Profile
To be successful in this HR Director (interim) role you MUST be able to demonstrate:
1. Considerable IR and ER experience.
2. That you have led on pay negotiations with Unions, including designing the approach to be taken.
3. Experience overseeing Payroll.
4. Experience working in a business in the Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics Distribution, and supply chain sectors.
In addition, you MUST:
1. Be able to start on Monday 6th January.
2. Live within an easy commute of Redhill, Sussex.
