The role is to lead the entire quality function for critical multiyear customer mastering programs including developing a global single customer view, migrating current services to cloud, and bringing in continuous improvement customer capabilities to the bank. Candidate should have hands-on knowledge of test strategy planning for global programs, test automation setup for DevOps CI/CD atmosphere, extensive experience in leading large testing teams with end-to-end responsibility, and experience in stakeholder management across a wide spectrum including Business, IT, Operations, vendor etc.
To align with global transformation program, the role will lead the quality and testing transformation. Candidate should define transformation roadmap and implement the change program, which includes Quality Assurance & Quality Engineering best practices, methods & processes, tools, accelerators, automation, optimization and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced global leader, with a proven track record of leading test automation, transformation program as well as being a leader of organizational, operational and technological change.
In this role you will:
1. Develop and implement the overall testing and quality assurance strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
2. Lead and mentor a team of QA managers, test leads and testers across various locations, including onshore and offshore teams.
3. Lead the testing and quality for all the services within global liquidity.
4. Analyse current issues, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions.
5. Lead quality and test transformation, identify their business and technical issues related to Quality and testing and recommend solutions.
6. Take charge of change management, quality engineering, test optimization, automation, associated process, tools, operating model and implementation strategy that will help the organization improve quality.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Experience in implementing agile ways of working and automation, a strong background in Software Development Lifecycle and experience with Agile methodology-based testing delivery.
2. Proven track record in transforming manual testing team into test automation team, including solid experience in change management, quality engineering, test optimization, automation, associated process, tools, operating model and implementation strategy. The scale of the transforming experience must be in a global organization.
3. Expertise in test automation, performance & endurance testing, security/penetration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Expertise in creating and designing Test cases against Platforms.
5. Strong negotiating skills, comfortable executing against recommendations & plans by overcoming barriers and resistance.
