Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with BSRIA's mission and industry needs.
Design, manage, and enhance training programs, ensuring they reflect the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop engaging and relevant course content.
Oversee the delivery of training through multiple formats, including face-to-face, online, and blended learning approaches.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, using feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, accrediting bodies, and professional associations.
Ensure compliance with qualification frameworks and regulatory standards.
Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and legislative changes in building services and integrate them into training programs.
Manage and support a team of trainers, facilitators, and learning professionals.
Promote innovation in training delivery, incorporating digital learning tools and interactive methodologies.
Any other duties commensurate with the roleAbout you:
Experience in Learning & Development, Training Management, or a related role ideally within the building services, construction, or engineering sectors.
Knowledge of instructional course design, and adult learning principles.
Experience in developing and delivering accredited training programs.
Understanding of qualification frameworks and industry standards (e.g., CPD, NVQs, apprenticeships, and professional certifications).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and enhance training effectiveness.
Proficiency in learning technologies, LMS platforms, and e-learning development.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
A confident communicator both written and orally with great organisational skills.
