M4 Recruitment are working with a leading importer of ethnic food products who are seeking a permanent Sales Executive to work alongside a very successful team. As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for the retention, growth, reactivation and profitable development of existing and new customers by proactively capturing and managing customers' orders for our client.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve / Exceed Period Sales and daily focus targets
2. Achieve / exceed individual agreed KPI's
3. Develop profitable sales growth across existing customer base gaining a sound understanding of customer map of the world
4. Utilising competitor activity and market insights to your advantage
5. Building a pipeline across product categories
6. Proactively continue learning with up to date product and service knowledge
7. Proactively identify new business opportunities
8. Actively manage risk within the customer base, including uptrading / downtrading and credit exposure
9. Commercially aware in order to actively interrogate, interpret and act upon various data sources
10. Ensure compliance with GDPR policies
11. All data should be stored securely in compliance with the company's policies
12. The role also includes anything else the company reasonably tasks
Skills Required:
1. Good numeracy skills
2. Good communication skills
3. Ability to manage their own time
4. Able to follow instructions and procedures
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. Proven ability to work in a KPI focused, target driven environment
7. First class negotiation skills with strong commercial awareness
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Sales environment role
2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
3. Proven track record of handling inbound and outbound calls and emails
4. Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management
5. Strong organizational and time management skills
6. Effective problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and find creative solutions
7. Results orientated, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace
8. Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to work in a deadline driven environment
9. Proficiency in using CRM software
The company offers benefits which include Gym membership, increasing holiday allowance, an Employer Assistance Programme alongside a great salary package. Hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00am-17:00pm.
