Your role:
Are you a Senior HR Leader looking for the next step? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an experienced HR Director for UK, France & Export.
Reporting to the Vice President of HR - Europe, this integral role will work closely with the UK and France leadership team. You will develop and implement strategies, whilst collaborating with the Global/European teams to ensure alignment of business objectives. You will provide strategic leadership, further developing and leading the UK & France HR team. You will lead and champion our people initiatives, driving employee engagement, recruitment, and talent management. Provide great internal stakeholder support, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement, whilst approaching new challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
This role is a hybrid role, with travel to our UK and France sites. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, 7.5% pension, salary sacrifice schemes and much more.
What your impact will be:
* Act as business partner advising the UK and France leadership team to achieve strategic goals.
* Ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
* Provide dynamic and effective leadership and day-to-day management of the department and operational activities including the effective, efficient and economic deployment of physical, financial and human resources.
* Undertake appropriate risk assessment at departmental, functional and corporate level.
* Partner with assigned business unit(s) and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
* Identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
* Ensure service delivery of fundamental HR processes, supported with the use of metrics, reports, and dashboards, and be a highly visible member of local leadership teams.
* Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, reorganisation actions, Trade Union and Works Council negotiations, absence management, talent acquisition and development, benefits and total rewards, Employee relations, Employee engagement, Diversity and Inclusion plans, performance management (PDP and PIP) plus HIPO identification.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Minimum 5 years broad and progressive experience in human resources.
* Experience in manufacturing and consulting Unions or Works Councils.
* Experience in HR site/multi-site leadership.
* Extensive experience partnering with Senior Leadership and handling complex issues across multi-site and multi-function.
* Experience of operating collaboratively within a multiple country HR Team.
* Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of Human Resources, including employment law, employee relations, compliance management in a large organization, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, absence management, organizational planning, leadership development, coaching, training, engagement and building trust.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related field.
* Country recognised HR professional qualification, such as CIPD.
