Our client, a leading Engineering organisation, urgently requires an experienced Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
* Sales experience gained within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering sectors
* Estimating experience for sales quotations and proposals is highly desirable
* Able to obtain SC Clearance
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
* Providing technical information and pricing to customer enquiries, taking primary lead on variations on existing orders, small works quotes, and maintenance quotations
* Answering all customer enquiries promptly and accurately, recording detail as required and updating the CRM
* Being responsible for assigned sales enquiries and engaging with new and existing clients
* Following up enquiries, understanding their technical requirements, and working with the team to generate sales proposals and tender returns
* Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and any issues, providing appropriate solutions where necessary
* Collaborating effectively with the Commercial Sales Team by creating and issuing sales tracking documentation upon request and providing information on the current state of an enquiry
* Working with the operations team to ensure that the proposal is profitable and executable
* Maintaining ongoing customer communications to ensure that the client has the correct support for each contract, which may include site visits and overseas travel
* Providing accurate communication and handovers with the design, project, manufacturing, and technical teams for each project, ensuring all parties understand and agree with the project requirements and amendments
* Assisting in forming and creating partnerships with other businesses, agent networks, and supply chains
* Managing all stakeholder and customer relationships in a proactive manner
