HR Generalist
We are delighted to be working alongside a leading employer based in Antrim to recruit for a HR Generalist to join their established HR Team. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing and successful organisation.
The HR Generalist
1. Advise and support management on recruitment and selection, including developing role profiles and participating in interviews.
2. Respond to requests for advice on attendance management, conduct, capability, grievances, and employee relations matters.
3. Guide managers through policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent handling of employment matters.
4. Provide HR advisory input into projects, change management programmes, and working groups.
5. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, team members, partners, and external agencies.
6. Assist in prioritising, planning, and monitoring HR activities to ensure best value.
7. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in line with organisational values.
8. Stay updated on employment legislation and HR best practices, sharing knowledge within the team.
9. Assist in designing and delivering training and development interventions.
10. Support People Strategies by promoting a culture of engagement and participating in engagement activities.
11. Attend and contribute to relevant forums and working groups.
What you will need to have as a HR Generalist
1. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
2. Experience in recruitment and selection at all levels, employee relations issues, and training and development activities and initiatives.
3. A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
4. A professional and organised approach to work.
5. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
7. Strong IT skills including experience of HR systems.
8. Commitment to undertake travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
