£45-50k + TRONC, Bonus & Benefits (£60-65k+ package)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the dynamic Chef team of this exciting restaurant. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish served.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Chef to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals both front and back of house.
We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef who is capable of managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
*The restaurant is closed from Mid-November to February - Fully paid throughout this time and are free to go off and do what they want

About the job:
* Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, recipe creation, and food cost management.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and optimise profitability.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Demonstrate creativity and innovation in culinary techniques and presentation.
About you:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant environment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Thorough knowledge of cookery techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
