Job Title: Mandarin / English Sales Executive – Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent
Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Manchester (onsite)
Salary: £25,000+ performance-based bonus
Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Sales Executive is responsible for establishing contact and developing relationships with students and their parents, maintaining relationships with clients by providing support and information, and communicating with existing and new partners for student referrals.
The Key Tasks Include but Are not Limited to:
1. Acting as the main point of contact between clients and Prominent Education.
2. Achieving sales targets by providing sales consultation and cross-selling services.
3. Formulating and executing sales plans to meet sale targets.
4. Negotiating terms of sales and agreements, and finalising sales with clients.
5. Collecting market and client information to ascertain client needs.
6. Addressing client inquiries and resolving objections to facilitate purchases.
7. Working with tutoring coordinator to facilitate tutoring sessions and enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Enhancing the client continuation rate by improving customer satisfaction and understanding clients’ needs.
9. Summarising clients’ needs and communicating with the product development team.
10. Feeding the team with market intelligence and trends.
11. Establishing student referral channels from China including but not limited to education recruitment agencies and international/local schools.
12. Establishing student referral channels from the United Kingdom including but not limited to schools, PTAs and Chinese supermarkets.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
Experience/Knowledge:
• 1-2 years of sales experience (Preferably in the education industry).
• Understand the tutoring business trends in both the UK and China is preferable.
• Understand the UK Education system and its equivalent in China.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining client satisfaction.
Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
• The ability to manage an extensive workload with frequently conflicting priorities with good organisational skills and great attention to details.
• The ability to effectively communicate with the team and other departments to resolve complex situations.
• Highly motivated with the ability to drive success and achieve targets. And proactive in resolving issues within their remit.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills for operational performance.
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills, preferably with track records.
• Able to demonstrate initiative to develop and improve services.
