Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Executive to join our team. As part of the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by promoting our services, publications, and awards to clients in the wedding industry. Your ability to engage in personable communication, understand client needs, offer great customer service and exceed sales targets will be crucial to your success in this role.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the wedding industry. Maintain and communicate with our regular customer database to ensure ongoing engagement and bookings. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base. Effectively communicate our services, including wedding shows, publications, and awards to potential clients. Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and effective negotiation. Confident in calling new & regular clients. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the events, publishing, or related industries is crucial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a personable demeanour. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-driven mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Motivated and goal-oriented, with a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of the wedding industry is a plus, but not required. Weekend work at our events is an essential part of the role during our wedding show seasons January to May and September to early November. Rotas are organised and you would work approximately 14 weekends within the year, this is additional pay to your annual salary.

Basic Salary, dependant on age and experience £25,000-£28,000, OTE £32-£35k.
