Café Senior sous chef required for a very popular venue in a prime location between Chichester and Bognor Regis.We are looking for motivated and experienced Chef to join a busy, friendly team.Candidate RequirementsTo have a background of working at a senior levelMust have a food hygiene qualification, at least a level 2Should be able to work under their own initiative but must know the importance of working as part of a team, so being a good communicator is highly important.You will be working under the venue Managing Director preparing fresh ingredients and cooking a variety of foods on an already agreed menu basis.Responsibilities will include managing the food preparation and the small but dedicated team of chefs ensuring the kitchen works efficiently with stock controls.This is a full-time role working 8.30am 5pm on straight shifts, working 5 days out of 7 with weekends in a rota basis.Salary £32,000-£36,000 depending on experienceExperience:Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or cafe settingA minimum of 3 years experienceProficiency in various cooking techniques and food preparation methodsAbility to bake cakes, scones and desertsKnowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenanceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyBenefits:Company pensionDiscounted foodEmployee discountFree parkingIf you are passionate about food, have a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.TPBN1_UKTJ
