We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our Surgical Business Unit covering East of England and related Integrated Care Systems. You'll be responsible for selling our entire surgical portfolio across all NHS and Private Hospitals within Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
On a day to day basis, you'll be supporting various clinicians across A&E and Surgical Theatres as they use our products with enhanced training and guidance. We're looking for someone who has previous selling experience, who has a willingness to learn, and who can bring a positive and energetic outlook to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* Identify and manage conversion and protection tactics for all accounts on territory.
* Identify and manage account added value tactics to increase account sales value.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all KDM’s within accounts including Surgeon level, clinical leads, trainers and procurement officers.
* Optimise sales contact time ensuring that support data flows routinely from marketing and accounts avail themselves of all contemporary training and support materials.
* Facilitate the wound closure lead brand strategy detailing devices and adopting Features and Benefits selling to drive innovation and promote tissue adhesive use.
* Develop a network of account advocates and product champions along with education link contract and train the trainers contacts.
* Develop regional peer group and links into any relevant educational and professional bodies present on territory.
* Develop flagship accounts within each key area of usage such as Laparoscopic theatres.
* Provide pro-active portfolio management to the customer to ensure there is the optimal mix of products.
* Drive sales of premium innovation products.
* Liaise with NHSSC Theatre Account Managers to accelerate conversion account sales cycle.
* Identify and agree sales process with Regional Sales Manager.
* Monitor closely sales progress proactively managing any roadblocks or delay factors by adopting alternative tactics.
* Manage pro-actively clinical evaluations and always ensure control.
* Keep all activity registered on the CRM system and Outlook calendar.
* Provide product specific training when required.
* Ensure an up to date knowledge of the current market requirements and competitors.
* Complete all product and sales training courses as required by Line Management.
* Ensure that all administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* In conjunction with Line Management and/or colleagues initiate and act upon a personal development plan.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
What we're looking for?
* Business, Science or Marketing Degree, or equivalent.
* Previous relevant sales experience ideally in a theatre environment.
