Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Training Manager to join our team in Swindon, supporting our customer Iceland. You will manage the day-to-day Training Operation, tracking the driver population to ensure deadlines around training are met while ensuring maximum utilisation of the fleet available.
This is a full-time, permanent position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 15:30, with some flexibility, this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Ensuring the Training Calendar is fully populated each week and is executed in line with or as close to the original plan.
* Monitor the flow of unit availability to ensure vehicles are available when planned for training needs and have been circulated in with advance warning with the Operational Team.
* Work with the Operational Team to discuss any delivery issues through discussion with the driving and QHSE Team such as new store Risk Assessments and offloading areas at the stores.
* Working with the Compliance & QHSE Teams to ensure drivers are fully compliant with legal and company requirements at the time of assessments and inductions.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience in a Training role would be advantageous.
* Be flexible and adaptable to changing needs for the customer.
* Cross-over team working as working closely with the QHSE and Compliance Teams.
