Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a trainee salesperson to join a major leading organisation. The role is aimed at an individual who is seeking a business that will invest in them. While experience is not essential for this role, commitment and a desire to progress within a fast-moving environment would be advantageous. Training and development will be provided, supported by the opportunity to liaise and interact with our customers. The role involves providing effective sales support to our Primary Division, understanding the brands, being creative with ideas and suggestions, and assisting in the progression of the overall business sales strategy.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Primary Commercial Manager and work within a food factory environment, liaising with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded in the most efficient manner. We will offer full training, support, and mentoring with the end goal of you looking after your own customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Immediate responsibility supporting experienced sales professionals and working closely with new and existing customers to maintain and develop business relations.
2. Learning and navigating both Excel and internal software systems.
3. Making the best commercial decisions and aiming to maximise all sales of raw material produced.

1. Keen and enthusiastic attitude to learning, self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative, and customer-focused.
2. Attention to detail.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to multi-task, manage workload, and prioritise tasks.
5. Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic working environment.
Desirable Criteria
1. Previous exposure within a Commercial/Trading environment.
2. Knowledge of beef and lamb cuts.
3. Degree in Agri Business, Business, or Sales-related discipline.
