Role: Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you'll be the Head Chef's go-to support, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver 14 great shifts weekly.
You'll lead shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs effectively and safely. Your attention to detail will cover stocks, Health & Safety, Hygiene, manning the pass to ensure our food goes out on-spec and on-time, upholding 5-star kitchen standards. You'll be proactive and meticulous, like a chef's bonnet.

What you'll bring
* Likely an existing Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager ready to advance
* Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong chef skills (food prep, hygiene, knife skills)
* A proactive work ethic, leading by example to uphold high standards
* Driven and relentless in overcoming challenges
* Familiarity with KPIs and decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef regarding labour, stock, and safety
* Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders like Ops Chefs and Managers
* Knowledge of rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR
* Experience in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs
