Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic client on a Part Time basis, 3x days per week. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent to help drive the growth and success of their business. You will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding. This role requires a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the business, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
* Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive candidates, using job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
* Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, business needs, and team culture, ensuring alignment between recruitment strategy and organisational goals.
* Coordinate and conduct interviews, providing guidance to hiring managers to assess candidates' suitability for the role.
* Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
* Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear, transparent, and respectful communication with all applicants.
* Oversee the offer process, including negotiating salary and terms, and preparing offer letters.
* Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organisation.
* Maintain and update the recruitment database and relevant systems to track candidate progress and provide reporting as needed.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and compliance regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
* Foster and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities to support talent acquisition efforts.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, with strong knowledge of recruitment tools, techniques, and best practices. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers. You must have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is essential, as is a proactive approach with a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the UK would be advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) and familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process is imperative. You must be able to commit to 3x days per week.
