Youll inspire, train, and motivate a talented brigade, keeping them performing at their best. Youll also play a key role in ensuring consistency in quality, from breakfast classics to diner favourites, all while maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards.
**Responsibilities:**- Support the kitchen leadership team with menu development and kitchen operations- Assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team- Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality and presentation- Step up to manage kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs- Train and develop junior staff, helping to build a strong, cohesive brigade- Maintain kitchen hygiene, health & safety, and stock control
**About You:**- Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie, ideally in a high-volume kitchen- Strong leadership and team-building skills- Passionate about food and delivering high-quality dishes- Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude- Eager to learn and develop your own skills, as well as mentor others
