Sous Chef Location: Ribble Valley Hours: Full-time We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a well-established gastro pub in the Ribble Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented chef to work closely with the Head Chef, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen Assist in menu development and ensure high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency Maintain stock control, ordering, and supplier management Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are met Help manage kitchen budgets and control waste effectively Requirements: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative cooking Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisation and time management abilities Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment If you're looking for a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a thriving gastro pub, we'd love to hear from you.
