The Role As Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our kitchen. Your key responsibilities will include: Leadership : Lead, manage, and inspire a dedicated kitchen team, maintaining discipline and fostering a positive working environment. Health & Safety : Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations, maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards. Food Safety : Oversee all food safety protocols, including accurate labelling, storage, and temperature control. Kitchen Administration : Manage essential kitchen admin tasks such as stock control, ordering, rotas, and adherence to budgets. Consistency : Execute a well-established menu with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality in every dish. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment. Exceptional leadership skills with a no-nonsense approach to team management and accountability. Strong knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and compliance regulations. Proven experience in kitchen administration, including ordering, stock control, and cost management.
