If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you here at EDF as a Learning Designer The Opportunity… We’re looking for Learning Designers who can partner closely with the business to support the delivery of strategic goals through impactful learning experiences. As a business, we've made significant investments in our Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital communication tools. As a Learning Designer, you will play a key role in repurposing existing content to be clear, engaging, and cost-effective, ensuring it meets the needs of the modern learner. Working closely alongside the wider People Development team, you’ll use data and insights coupled with Learning best practice to tailor learning strategies to individual business units and employees. As a visible and proactive member of the People Development team, you’ll help raise the profile of learning across the organisation and be a go-to point of contact for learning opportunities on a day-to-day basis. What you’ll be doing As a Learning Designer at EDF Energy, you will: Take a consultancy-led approach with business units to identify and analyse learning needs, using data and insights wherever possible. Apply a variety of learning design methodologies to deliver effective and timely learning solutions. Measure and evaluate the impact of learning interventions to ensure they deliver meaningful results. Develop and maintain learner personas to shape what learning looks like across EDF Energy and its various business units. Utilise the most appropriate and cost-effective tools to maximise learning impact. Lead and support learning engagement initiatives—such as webinars and internal presentations—to raise awareness of learning resources and support organisational goals. Analyse data from multiple sources to identify employee pain points and learning opportunities. Who you are You’ll need a proven track record in designing and building impactful learning content and experience delivering results across various project management methodologies. Excellent project management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll bring strong client facing experience and have the ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders, influencing and challenging at all levels when required. We value individuals who are resourceful, someone who knows where to find great content across a range of platforms, whether that’s leadership material on YouTube or thought leadership blogs. Strong consulting skills are a must, with the ability to draw insight from both data and conversation, then translate this into practical, tailored learning interventions. Curiosity and an appetite to learn are essential. We want someone who takes the time to understand each business area, its priorities, environment, people, and culture. You’ll need to be adaptable and flexible, able to manage multiple deliverables for a variety of stakeholders, all while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team. Finally, commercial awareness and a focus on cost-effectiveness are important, as is a mindset geared toward continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance programmes and drive the best possible outcomes.
