Reports To This position will report to the EU Sales Director and Branch General Manager. Job Overview The core duties of the Sales Executive are to identify, design and execute plans that help the company’s business grow as well as develop new products, services and lines of businesses to increase and sustain that growth. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets Uphold rapport with clients and prospects Nurture new sales leads to secure business Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization Build relationship and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one Qualifications 3 years in freight forwarding industry or logistics related business Air / Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents Excellent verbal & written communication skills English Exceptional customer service and follow up skills Great teamwork and communication skills, attend to details The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
