Junior Sous / Sous Chef - Rural Pub Restaurant With Rooms - Dorset - Live-in - £30K
We're proud to be recruiting for an experienced chef to join this small team in a fantastic rural pub restaurant in a small village setting. The owners have been in catering for all their lives and have a genuine passion for food and service. To be the successful applicant for this Sous Chef position you should have a good understanding of fresh ingredients, be enthusiastic about food and service, have a desire to progress and learn new skills. The Head Chef/Proprietor has a background of high end Rosette dining and is eager to employ a chef that shares his passion for food and service and wants to progress.
The restaurant is normally open for food 7 days per week, it offers several great dining areas inside which can seat approximately 48 covers in various interlinked rooms for dining / drinking. They also have a spacious garden terrace and garden seating areas for additional 40+ covers when weather permits.
As Sous Chef you will
· Join a team of 3 chefs plus a breakfast chef and kitchen porters.
· You will be expected to work 4-5 days per week (approximately 40 hours),
· Take control of the kitchen in the Head Chef absence.
