The Role You’ll be working closely with not only your colleagues in the Data and Information Management team, but experts in a variety of roles across the business in order to deliver business as usual and project activities to help deliver on our alignment to the data strategy being rolled out. We’re in the process of building a Data Platform, this will change the way we use data, and we’re also mid a change project focusing on changing the culture of the organisation around data and information and delivering the right operating model to enable us to get the most from our data and information landscape – this role will help deliver this vision. This role will focus on the design, build and management of the core ETL processes that enable our data to be available for the business’s needs Confidently promote data management approaches to all levels of the organisation Act as a Data Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of projects, delivering the required project-based work (e.g. working with project teams to understand new and existing data sources, data models, data extracts or data transformation) Mentorship on implementation of high-quality data management to the business and project teams About You Minimum essential requirements for the role: Knowledge of all architectural disciplines Conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling with proven experience and delivery benefits Understanding of Master and Reference Data Management concepts An analytical mindset to challenge the business with both BAU and project deliverables Willingness to confidently challenge and quantify data decisions Experience in the transformation of data to meet strategic and analytical goals Inclusivity We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our diversity ensuring all are backgrounds included here at the CAA.
