Chef Manager - Cobham - Education
A prestigious school based in Cobham are looking for a Sous Chef to join the brigade in assisting preparing food to agreed high standards.
Key Information:
Salary: £18.35 - £19.50
Hours: 40 hrs a week, Mon - Fri, 7am - 3pm (occasional weekends and evenings). Term time 38 weeks

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef will Include:
To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
To support in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge
Lead, develop, coach, train, and inspire your team
Have full control of stock, food, and labor costs
Ensure consistency of food and service standards
Manage and improve all controllable costs
Deliver exceptional customer service
Carry out regular audits
Ideal Candidate
OND or HND qualified would be advantageous
Craft based experience using fresh ingredients
Knowledge of health and safety practices
Line management experience is advantageous
