An exciting opportunity as a Sous Chef has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links, as part of the Rookery Restaurant at our prestigious golf course.
This is a permanent position where the successful applicant will work an average of 46 hours a week (on annualised hours). In this role, evening and weekend work will be expected throughout your employment.
This position will work closely with our head chef, while being responsible for the kitchen alongside our head chef, and deputising in their absence, ensuring a consistent and high-quality food offering is provided to all visitors to The Rookery restaurant. The ideal candidate will have exceptional cooking skills, while holding either 14-19 Catering Diploma, SVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery or have the relevant industry experience.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in menu development, food purchasing and storage, leading teams and compliance with all food hygiene and health and safety legislation.
