HR Generalist Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to help shape the formation of a small, dynamic team, where you’ll play a key role in fostering team culture, supporting growth and development, and ensuring a positive and collaborative environment? We are looking for a HR Generalist to carry out all people related activities for the early stages of the Sizewell C contract for SPS. This role will primarily involve driving recruitment efforts, but you'll also play a key part in offering HR support to the operations team and overseeing Employee Relations cases, giving you a chance to influence both talent acquisition and employee well-being across the organisation. Duties will include: Recruitment: Advertising vacancies across several different channels Arranging and conducting interviews Compliance on all recruitment processes Protecting candidates’ identity, data and information, adhering to all GDPR related activities Establishing and maintaining relationships with third party suppliers Working with our client EDF to take part in recruitment events, job fayres and local education programmes HR: Supporting the operational management team to advise on Employee Relations cases (such as disciplinary and absence cases) Taking notes where necessary at colleague meetings Providing employment law information where needed Supporting with colleague related interventions Tracking absence data and ensuring this is available for relevant stakeholders Working with the SHE team to implement colleague wellbeing activities Liaising with the SHE team to provide MHFA support to colleagues Skills/ Qualifications & Knowledge: Essential: Driving Licence Proven knowledge and experience in a similar HR generalist role A flexible approach to working hours as we are a 24/7 business Knowledge of Right to Work, GDPR and other employment law procedures Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or 5 Experience in the transport industry, or a similar relatable field Experience in a Trade Union environment Knowledge of the transport sector.
