Our client, one of the UK's leading Sports Equipment Suppliers, are looking to recruit a Rugby/Cricket-loving University Graduate to join them as a Sales Executive. Based in a fantastic office in Surrey, this is a great opportunity for the right candidateOur client have been established for close to 25 years, and manufacture/distribute sporting equipment to clients from amateur to professional level. They are incredibly well-known in their field, and also operate across Europe and the US. Given their growth, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to join them on a permanent basis, initially in a Sales Consultant capacity (to learn the business/customer base), before inheriting a portfolio of 300 B2B clients and managing each account. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Handling warm inbound leads, understanding more about a client's query/need (offering an incredible customer experience)- Making contact with historic clients in order to re-engage/learn more about their current supplier solution- Processing customer orders directly- Building relationships with external clients in order to ensure we are in the correct position to convert once they are in need of supplies- Updating all information on company CRMOnce you have learnt the customer base/business model and progressed into the Account Management role (c/12 months), your responsibilities will then be as follows:- Overseeing a portfolio of 300 B2B clients- Conducting regular business reviews to grow each relationship- Working to growth/retention targets- Offering a very consultative/bespoke solution to each clientIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Genuine interest/passion for either Rugby or Cricket (the two main sports the company specialise in)- University degree (or equivalent)- Experience of working in some form of sales/targeted environment- Fun, sociable personality- Genuine desire/ambition to progressIn addition to a very competitive starting basic salary of £32,500 (which will increase once progressed into the Account Management role), our client are also offering the following:- Additional £5,000 in bonuses in Year One, and £15,000 - £20,000 in Year Two (absolutely uncapped)- Hybrid working (4 days a week in the office / 1 day a week working from home)- Fantastic working hours: Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.30pm)- Free parking in their Surrey office (Send)Our client are looking to move very quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
