The Doors Sales Executive is responsible for small repairs through to full modernisation and replacement, as well as supporting with maintenance sales when required.
To proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
This position will have a base at our Birmingham office and regions covered are Midlands, Central Wales and east Anglia.
Key responsibilities:
1. Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling)
2. Development of existing and new customer relationships.
3. Collaboration with the rest of KONE team to improve customer satisfaction.
4. Proactively generates opportunities from outside current customer base
5. Manages requests for quotations
6. Is accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
7. To consult with the Area Service Manager and local engineers
8. Is accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needs
9. Is responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts
10. Responsible for timely and accurate information input and reporting in CRM
11. Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field
12. Travel to meet customers will be required will be required to undertake site surveys
Skills & Experiences
13. Industry experience or a technical background is essential
14. Comfortable surveying all types of doors/gates/shutters. Full training will be given.
15. Sales and customer management experience is essential
16. Enjoys working with customers, stakeholders and building relationships
17. Complaint handling and resolving any queries
18. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills to gain access and work with the right external and internal networks.
19. Problem solving and finding solutions
20. Able to provide exceptional customer service
21. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
22. CRM, Salesforce experience is desirable
23. Customer centric mindset – understanding what creates value to our customers and providing excellent customer service
24. Good IT skills, CRM (Salesforce).
