* 40 hours contracted per week – Core business Monday to Friday but will be working some weekends

Company information – My client is a national contractor that, in addition to other specialist services (i.e., facilities), also provides catering services into the Business & Industry sector, education, healthcare, and leisure.
They are an American business that also heavily operates in the UK and has achieved consistent growth year after year by keeping core values and a passion for catering & hospitality.
An opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join their catering team based at one Hospital in the Farnborough area.
The catering offer consists of staff dining and patients' canteen.
Duties as Head Chef – You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day running and management of the back of house/kitchen operations.
Managing, mentoring, and developing a brigade of 3 chefs and 1 kitchen porter while reporting to the executive chef based on-site.
The food offer in the Staff Restaurant consists of breakfast and lunch service.
Menu changes every month, recipes made directly from head office.
This is a kitchen-based role and will require you to cook and manage the kitchen operations, including H&S, allergens, and GP targets.
As head chef and kitchen lead, you and your team will be catering for approximately 600-800 per day.
As the job is based in a hospital, you must have an Enhanced DBS.
The ideal Head Chef will have proven management skills, a real passion for fresh food, and previous client liaison experience.
