CQM have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing team as a Part-Time Sales Executive, directly supporting one of our key routes to market – our Open Cohort apprenticeships.
An integral role within the sales and marketing team, the postholder will be responsible for achieving the annual sales target for open cohort apprenticeship programmes - a key driver of revenue for the business.
Open Cohorts are groups of learners spanning different organisations and industries being brought together to join an apprenticeship programme as a group
- Work closely with the Business Development manager to maintain and expand relationships with Key Accounts and Customers
- Manage end to end sales process for Open Cohorts and achieve associated sales targets:
- Develop relationships with existing customers and new businesses
- Working with key decision makers across organisations to drive apprenticeship/Levy spend
- Deliver high quality learner engagement presentations to build interest and commitment to programmes
- Management of the application process & suitability of potential apprentices on to the right program and level of development
- Contract Negotiation, Creation, Management and Administration
- Working closely with Operational, Quality and Compliance teams to ensure key information is managed and communicated
- CRM/LMS/Sharepoint/Trello management and Administration
- Management of pipeline of learners, ensuring early and proactive action to build demand
- Develop and manage future growth of Open Cohort strategy, in conjunction with Sales & Marketing Director
- Support the Marketing Manager with initiatives such as webinars, events and lead/enquiry management
Essential Skills for the role:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including high standards of written communication), able to build relationships quickly, and communicate detailed information in a concise and friendly manner.
· Able to identify opportunities within relevant markets
· Organisational and administrative diligence, this role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – whilst adhering to strict Quality and Compliance requirements
· Collaboration, this role will require extensive teamworking through clear deadlines
· Experience of working within a B2B sales role
· Ability to prioritise and a good sense of initiative
· Full up to date UK driving licence
Desirable Experience:
Whilst not mandatory, experience of working in the training or education sector would set you apart from other applicants.

CQM’s main office is in Chesterfield S41 8NG, with our Group head office being in Market Harborough LE16 9HW. Both offices operate hot desks for employees to access as frequently as desired.
