We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to take over the Sous Chef role at our friendly kitchen in The Bull and Dog, Coton, Shropshire (located between Whitchurch and Wem).
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor the kitchen team.
2. Develop the menu and prepare high-quality, fresh food in a busy environment.
3. Maintain high standards of food hygiene.
About Us:
We cook fresh, from scratch, using local ingredients where possible. Our ever-changing menu features pub classics and international dishes. We encourage our chefs to contribute to menu development and business improvement.
What We Look For:
* Hardworking, reliable, and outgoing.
* Good sense of humor (no shouty chefs).
* Ability to build rapport with front-of-house staff and guests.
* Must be able to drive (no accommodation available).
Details:
Hours are 48 per week, 5 days on and 2 days off, mostly weekends. Flexibility for occasional time off is possible.
