Park Grand Kensington is about to embark on an exciting new chapter, soon to be rebranded as a vibrant Marriott lifestyle hotel. With 132 stylish bedrooms, a bold new creative identity, and an elevated guest experience inspired by connection, creativity, and local character, the hotel will stand out as a true destination in the heart of Kensington.
At the centre of this transformation is ourbrand-new concept restaurant and bar a space that brings together global flavours, relaxed energy, and standout hospitality, from breakfast, brunch through to cocktails and dinner. More than just a place to eat and drink, it will be a local hub alive with personality and built around the spirit of modern London living.
Your Responsibilities
* Launch and lead the kitchen operations for our new concept restaurant, bar, and in-room dining service.
* Create and refine an inspiring all-day menu that flows frombrunch favouritestodinner platesandbar snacks.
* Build, train, and lead a high-performing, motivated kitchen team.
* Ensure consistently high standards in food quality, presentation, and hygiene across all service periods.
* Collaborate closely with the F&B Manager and General Manager to shape and evolve the venues offering.
* Manage food cost, stock control, labour planning, supplier partnerships, and kitchen P&L in collaboration with the wider F&B leadership team
* Bring creativity and flair to menu development, with a sharp eye on trends, sustainability, and guest preferences.
* Uphold health & safety, food safety and compliance standards to the highest level.
About You
* You are a passionate and dynamic Head Chef (or strong Sous Chef ready to step up), with experience inlifestyle, boutique, or premium casual restaurants or hotels.
* You love working withfresh, seasonal ingredientsand creating food thatsbold, colourful, and full of flavour.
* You have a strong background inall-day diningand a modern approach to brunch and bar-led menus.
* Youre a natural leader organised, calm under pressure, and skilled at mentoring your team.
* You understand the rhythm and energy of a restaurant thats as much a social hub as a dining destination.
* Marriott or lifestyle hotel experience is a bonus, but creativity and drive matter most.
