Automation Tester

Manchester - required to go into the office 2 times per month Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Automation Tester who will the functional and non-functional requirements are kept consistent and at a high level. You will also shape testing practices and be experienced in Agile working. As an Automation Tester, you will help to create acceptance criteria, develop test approaches and collaborate with developers and business analysts to introduce new features.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Perform testing activities within a scrum & project team
Doing a mix of frontend and backend testing as well moving certain applications into the cloud using MS Azure
Undertake automation testing and where required you will document manual testing
Participate in Agile Scrum process and rituals. i.e. daily stand ups, planning and retrospectives
Define, create and run non-functional tests that will critique our enterprise applications
Present feedback (both written and verbal) to product and development teams on test outcomes
Work with developers to investigate defects and help with their resolutionThe following skills and experience will be beneficial for this role:
Solid experience of testing large scale complex enterprise CRM systems and their integration points, including all levels of System and Integration Testing
Experienced in test design and test execution; creating and designing test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test plans and test reports
Experience of working with automation tooling, such as Tosca, Postman and Selenium or similar technologies
Solid understanding of Agile (particularly Scrum) software testing methodologies and the practices of a tester in this environment
Ability to work with complex business processes and create test plans that cover all the relevant scenarios
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to communicate test status, issues and risk to stakeholders as well as presenting complex information to different audiences.Some of the amazing benefits that come with this role:
