Key Responsibilities:
1. Train and mentor line cooks in preparing and plating dishes for service.
2. Keep the kitchen staff engaged and focused, minimizing idle time.
3. Manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while monitoring labor costs and payroll.
4. Prepare daily prep lists to ensure smooth operations.
5. Expedite service to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
6. Order products from a variety of purveyors while upholding our commitment to local sourcing.
7. Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef in weekly meetings to create and implement new menu items.
Qualifications:
8. Proven kitchen leadership experience.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
