Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of civils products to the agricultural and construction sectors. Products include underwater drainage, surface water drainage and flood management products used in a range of large-scale projects. They have grown by 30% last year and as a result are now looking for an additional Sales Executive to be based in their countryside-based offices near Sutton Coldfield.
The Role:
1. To maintain and grow the profitability of the company by generating new business and handling inbound sales calls.
2. Research and identify new business opportunities or new ways of reaching existing markets.
3. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
4. Help to plan sales campaigns and work with the marketing department to implement these.
5. Handle incoming enquiries from phone calls, emails, web enquiries etc.
6. Grow existing customers' sales and profit by constantly seeking opportunities.
7. Create and manage a sales pipeline.
The Candidate:
1. You will have a minimum of 2 years outbound internal sales experience (B2B).
2. Ideally experience in construction and/or civils.
3. Ability to commute to their offices, just outside of Sutton Coldfield.
4. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
5. Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
6. The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
7. Project management and organisational skills.
