Salary: £16.15 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Organise, plan and prepare meals ensuring that all home-cooked food not only looks and tastes delicious but also reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of each resident.
* Provide guidance and training to care teams on understanding and implementing safe and appropriate textured food options for residents, ensuring compliance with dietary standards (e.g., IDDSI).
* Lead, motivate and inspire your kitchen team to develop and upskill.
* Comply with industry and Meallmore quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
* Work within budget, complete regular audits and stock control.
* Menu development, tailoring around resident’s needs, likes, and dislikes to ensure we deliver person-centred hospitality.
Skills & Requirements:
* Experience as Head Chef or similar, ideally in care homes or healthcare preferred.
* A personal and warm approach with a genuine interest in the well-being of our residents.
* Knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs, and food allergies.
* Excellent leadership and team management.
* Good understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
* Food Safety Level 3 desirable.
