We're looking for a passionate Sous Chef to support our Head Chef at our busy country pub The Foresters, Church Crookham, Fleet.
The Sous Chef role is key to providing first-class hospitality service, ensuring that hygiene standards and delicious food are always served.
We are looking for a strong chef used to a busy environment to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining superb hygiene rating and excellent guest reviews of food.
2. Responsible for the successful management of the kitchen.
3. Strong controls for labour and stock.
4. To always exceed guest expectations and provide best-in-class hospitality to our guests.
5. Passion for food is a must.
Ideally you will have:
1. Proven experience in a similar level fresh food establishment.
2. Previous experience of hygiene & ordering.
3. Ability to manage a multifaceted, fast-paced business where every day is different.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. A positive 'Can Do' attitude and lead by example.
