Overview
The role of Groups and Events Sales Executive at Zetter is a key role within our central team and for the small but mighty Zetter group! We are looking for someone highly motivated and driven, to assist our Senior Groups and Events Sales Executive in handling all things groups and events. You will work closely with the operation’s team for each property, to drive events and groups revenue, contributing to the overall success of our company, ahead of our new opening, Zetter Bloomsbury, opening end of 2025.
Responsibilities
· Assist the Senior Groups and Events Sales Executive with all groups and events enquiries (corporate and social) for the Zetter portfolio, via various channels/medium, including but not only, telephone, email or booking platforms, in a timely manner, from enquiry to contracting stage.
· Prepare sales proposals, quotes for all prospective business leads, for new and existing clients.
· Build strong working relationships with direct clients and agencies alike, to ensure sales opportunities are converted including meeting your clients on the day, to secure repeat business,
· Ensure a high level of conversion in order to achieve or exceed defined budgets and KPIs.
· Showcase the brand through property show rounds, cross-selling events and accommodation within the Zetter portfolio.
· Take ownership of your events and coordinate with Operations team via clear event documentation to ensure the smooth running of the events, including running the weekly operations meeting.
· Ensure post events follow-ups are conducted, gathering feedback from clients and attendees to evaluate the success of events and identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events.
· Work with the marketing team to promote the hotel's event spaces and services along with attending industry networking events to build relationships and generate business opportunities.
· Be an ambassador, proudly representing our brand, embodying our values and commitment to our teams.
Requirements
· Prior experience in group sales, meetings and social events experience is essential.
· Proven technical knowledge: CRM, Event management system, PMS, Office,…
· Strong organisational & planning skills.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Natural at sales, motivated with a proactive attitude.
