Job Description Bootlegger is freshly opened speakeasy-style bar in Richmond. we serve American style food think Ribs, Burgers, Philly cheese steak. We are in need to a Chef / Kitchen Manager to take the reigns in our kitchen. You will work closely with the General Manager and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, team management, food production, and kitchen operations. Key responsibilities will be: Producing our amazing food designed by a top chef. Leading a small team of 2-3 line chefs and kitchen assistants. Responsibility for ordering and inventory. Due diligence and compliance record keeping. Ensure food safety standards are met at all times Train new kitchen employees on procedures and policies Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is essential Strong leadership and supervisory skills are required Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is necessary This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead the team in this exciting and expanding brand with opportunities to develop and grow as we do.
