HTSL are a leading supplier of equipment and services to the UK's NDT markets, the business has a well established position in the market along with strong distribution agreements.
Role Description
You will be an outgoing and tenacious individual who is self-motivated, target-driven, and thrives on working within a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Delivering exceptional customer service and technical support across a range of NDT product lines.
You will be covering the whole UK, with frequent visits to HTSL and customers sites; you will be responsible for the support and continued growth of the NDT division.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Act as point of contact for general NDT enquiries.
· Maintain and develop both existing and new customers, optimising the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
· Support and assist the NDT manager with sales analysis, reporting and forecasting.
· Sales Order Management – Quotations, Processing Orders, Facilitating Logistics.
· Identify and follow up on sales opportunities arising during customer visits.
· Identify opportunities to develop new products or services within the NDT division.
· Investigate and resolve any customer feedback related to NDT products or service.
· Attend regular site visits with clients to establish their requirements, demonstrate products and deliver group value propositions.
· Constantly improve the operational procedures used by the NDT team.
· To demonstrate a clear understanding of NDT equipment.
· To demonstrate a clear understanding of the safety, security and regulatory aspects of handling and transporting high activity sources.
· Provide technical support on products, services and both internal and external projects.
Key Skills and Competencies
· A background in NDT equipment sales.
· High level of commercial competency.
· Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills.
· Basic engineering skills.
· Ability to work safely and methodically in a highly regulated environment.
· Previous experience in a sales or business development role.
· Knowledge of NDT services and products.
· Knowledge of the transport regulations relating to radioactive material. Training will be provided
· Knowledge of import and export controls relating to radioactive materials. Training will be provided
· Driving License Essential.
